This year’s session of the Illinois General Assembly got underway today in Springfield.
Many issues are on the table to be dealt with this spring and today in a capitol press conference Illinois House Republicans discussed their 2020 legislative priorities in advance of the Governor’s State of the State address Wednesday.
To help Illinois grow again and restore trust in Illinois government, the House Republican’s priorities that will accomplish those goals are, 1) Property tax reform, 2) putting an end to the politically drawn legislative districts, 3) and most importantly, passing significant ethics reforms that will finally stop the culture of corruption in Illinois.
