Former Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran is the winner of Illinois’ Republican Senate primary.
He is set to face off with U.S. Senator Dick Durbin in November’s general election.
Curran was the Lake County Sheriff for 12 years and also served as the County State Prosecutor.
