The Illinois National Guard is being activated to help with the state’s response to COVID-19.
Pritzker activated approximately 60 service members yesterday to respond to COVID-19.
The move comes after 55 new cases were confirmed yesterday, bringing the state’s total up to 160 cases resulting in one death.
