Illinois State University students will be leaving Normal, which is expected to impact the economy.
ISU announced Tuesday that all classes will be moved online for the rest of the semester. All students able to go home are required to do so.
Many restaurants and bars rely on the student to bring them business during the school year.
The impact comes on top of temporary closures of all restaurants and bars in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
