MATTOON, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — A Charleston man is under fire after an incident at a Mattoon Walmart.
Mattoon Police say a Walmart employee, 20-year-old Nicholas A. Wood, is accused of intentionally setting fire to a toilet seat paper dispenser and a paper towel dispenser, causing damage to both.
Wood allegedly set the fires on March 21 and then again on March 27.
Walmart was not open to the public at the time of the incidents.
Wood was arrested on March 28. He was taken to the Cole County Jail.
