The Connect Transit Board of Trustees voted to extend the suspension of fare collection on all transportation services until June 7th, 2020. This includes Connect Transit fixed-route bus service and Connect Mobility paratransit service.
“We continue to look at ways to eliminate the physical contact required between riders and bus operators to keep this essential service as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Connect Transit General Manager Isaac Thorne. “I also want to thank our bus operators for their exceptional service during this time.”
The customer service area of the Administration building will continue to be closed to the public until June 7th and will coincide with the temporary suspension of fare collection. Our Customer Service Representatives will continue to perform their telephone functions with the public.
