Republican State Rep. Darren Bailey of Xenia asked the appellate court Friday to voluntarily vacate his restraining order against Gov. JB Pritzker’s executive order.
Bailey said new information has emerged to warrant that, but he is still seeking the court’s determination that the governor exceeded his authority.
Bailey is conducting a Facebook live with his attorney Tom DeVore tonight claiming his case is stronger now than before with new changes being made to combat legal maneuvering by the Governor.
