Republican legislators are in a dispute with Governor J.B. Pritzker over whether a new budget proposal includes lawmaker raises.
Republican leaders say the proposal includes an 18-hundred dollar raise for lawmakers, while keeping funding for schools and universities the same for the next fiscal year.
Pritzker says if the raise was in the original proposal, it has been taken out.
