The McLean County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner are still investigating that deadly crash that killed John J. Charsha, 27, of Downs.
The crash happened in the 19-thousand-900 block of East 16-hundred North Road.
A preliminary autopsy opinion indicates that Charsha died from head injuries when his SUV that struck a tree at a high rate of speed.
Toxicology testing is pending.
