
McLean County Health Department is reporting 10 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 309 cases.
At this time 38 individuals are isolating at home and 1 is hospitalized. There are 255 individuals that have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
There have been 15 COVID-related deaths in McLean County. The most recently reported death was part of the Bloomington Rehabilitation and Health Care Center outbreak last month. The McLean County Health Department was notified yesterday that the IDPH had classified the death from last month as COVID-related.
More than 15,400 tests have been resulted for a positivity rate of 2.0%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 2.4% through 7/9/2020
The IDPH has made county-level metrics available on their website. These metrics are intended to be used for local level awareness of each county’s progress during Phase 4 and will help local leaders, businesses, local health departments, and the public make informed decisions and promote healthy behaviors.
The target for test positivity according to these metrics is less than or equal to 10%.
