
McLean County Health Department is reporting 9 new cases of COVID-19 today, bringing our total to 411 cases.
At this time 68 individuals are isolating at home and 2 are hospitalized. There are 326 individuals that have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
There have been 15 COVID-related deaths in McLean County.
More than 19,600 tests have been resulted for a cumulative positivity rate of 2.1%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 2.2% through 7/21/2020
McLean County Health Department is partnering with Chestnut Health Systems to increase access to COVID testing in our county. Testing sites will be set-up in different rural communities of McLean County each week starting tomorrow.
The first stop will be in Colfax on July 23. From 9:00 a.m. until noon. Drive-through and walk-up testing will be available in the parking lot of the Colfax Village office at 307 N. Harrison Street unless there is inclement weather.
The sites will be using the self-administered nasal swab tests, with each person self-swabbing as instructed and monitored by an on-site staff member. Staff cannot assist with the self-swabbing process.
