One man is dead and his passenger was injured following a fatal motorcycle crash on southbound Center Street near the intersection of Armory Drive in Bloomington just after midnight Saturday morning.
According to McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder:
“At 0004 hours of August 15, 2020, McLean County Coroner’s Office received notification of a death at the above address. Bloomington Fire Department and the Bloomington Police Department were already on scene.
Pronounced deceased at 0011 hours on August 15, 2020, was a 45-year-old male occupant and presumed operator of the motorcycle. A passenger of the motorcycle was taken to an area hospital. An autopsy is scheduled for August 15, 2020.
The name of decedent is being withheld pending notification of family.
This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Bloomington Police Department.”
