McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathleen Yoder identified Sundays homicide victim as Natwan N. Nash, 26, of Bloomington, Illinois. Nash was pronounced deceased by the Coroner’s office at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, March 7th, 2021.
Preliminary autopsy opinion indicates that Nash died from multiple gunshot wounds. Toxicology testing is pending. This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Bloomington Police Department.
No arrests have been made at this time; there is no suspect information to release.

On Sunday, 3/7/2021, at approximately 6:50 p.m., Bloomington Police officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Clearwater Ave., Bloomington IL, for a report of a non-responsive person. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male inside an apartment with gunshot wounds.
