Continuing to follow CDC guidelines City of Bloomington employees will return to wearing masks at work.
The reversal does not affect occupancy numbers in city buildings. “The only change is the return of masks when employees are moving through hallways and to other buildings.” City Manager Tim Gleason said, adding “when people are in their own workspaces, they can remove their masks.”
Members of the public needing to do business in city facilities will also be required to wear masks.
The CDC announced the guideline shift on Tuesday of this week.
