The route for Rainbow Push Collation’s planned demonstration for Jelani Day has been set.
Traffic delays are to be expected, however, at least one lane of traffic will be open along the entire route. Everyone is asked to please drive slowly around emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
12:30 p.m. – Press conference at the Bloomington IL Police Department’s north side parking lot (305. S. East St).
No event parking will be allowed.
1:00 p.m. – Demonstration route will leave BPD to ISU’s Bone Student Center.
Start- BPD parking lot
– East St to Olive St
– Olive St. to Main St./East St.
– Main St./East St to Main St. in Normal, IL
– Main St to Locust – Normal, IL
– Locust to Bone Student Center parking lot.
End – Bone Student Center parking lot – expected time 2:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.
