A 44-year old Chenoa woman died Monday after a two-vehicle crash in rural McLean County.
Just before 8 a.m., Illinois State Police responded to the area of U.S. Route 24 and 2480 East, between Gridley and Chenoa, for a crash.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder is releasing the following information regarding the incident that occurred on Route 24, near 2480 East Road, near Chenoa, Illinois:
At 0800 hours on Monday, March 14, 2022, McLean County Coroner’s Office received notification of an accident involving an automobile and Semi-trailer truck. The driver and sole occupant of the automobile was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The name of the decedent is being withheld pending notification of family.
Autopsy is scheduled for today.
This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police.
