Stephan Davis a.k.a MAGA Hulk said the censorship on social media is absolutely egregious, especially when it comes to the conservative opinion.
“I definitely understand that when it comes to Elon Musk standing up for free speech which is what these platforms are supposed to be all about. It’s supposed to be about free speech and the free dissemination of ideas, but when it comes to these Twitter overlords, when it comes to Facebook and Instagram and all these social media platforms only certain speech is allowed. That’s what the left or the woke mob, I should say that’s been the left tends to promote and push,” said Davis. “The fact people on the Left and people like Brian Stelter are a little bit shaken up due to Elon Musk. Wonderful, bold move. I think it’s a good sign for free speech.”
Twitter announced that Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, would be joining its board of directors.
On March 25 he tweeted “Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy” and polled Twitter users about whether they “believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle.”
Free speech is essential to a functioning democracy.
Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle?

Twitter suspended the official account of Tucker Carlson over a tweet composed of only seven words about a transgender member of President Joe Biden’s administration.
Davis said the censorship was especially apparent with the situation involving Lia Thomas, a transgender swimmer. n March 2022, she became the first openly transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I national championship in any sport after winning the women’s 500-yard freestyle event.
“You can’t condemn a transgender on social media, its just not a thing that’s allowed to happen,” said Davis. “Or you will be de-platformed. You will be censored. You will be shadow banned. If there’s people like Brian Stelter that are shaking in their boots, good. Good! Free speech should be allowed for everybody,” said Davis. “I don’t know if Elon Musk is going to have a say in the way things are going to be moving forward on Twitter, but if he can shake things up.”
Davis is calling for someone else to do the same with Facebook…almost force buy-out Facebook.
“I don’t know who else has that much capital, but this is how we change the game when it comes to free speech. We do need free speech. That’s how we get across ideas and let people know that there are truths and there are lies and there are falsities and there are things that shouldn’t happen in society. That’s the only way to do it is through free speech,” said Davis.
Of 1,000 US voters polled by Rasmussen Reports, 66% believe the laptop story is important and 48% percent say it is “very important,” according to the survey.
“The story was absolutely suppressed, 100% across the board. It’s situations like this that need to be addressed, especially when it comes to section 230 of the Communications Decency Act… that we really need to look at and say they’re acting like a publisher as opposed to a platform,” said Davis. “We need to address the situation, because they have too much power in who can say this and who can say what. They are shutting down a legitimate story that the American people need to know.”
Davis said transparency in telling these stories is especially important when it comes to an election season.
