In commemoration of its 100th anniversary, State Farm is awarding Century of Good grants to help build stronger, more resilient communities in support of a more sustainable future, including:
City of Bloomington Parks Recreation & Cultural Arts Department (receiving $200,000)
Town of Normal Parks & Recreation Department (receiving $200,000)
The Ecology Action Center (receiving $100,000)
These local Illinois organizations comprise three of the six organizations across the country to receive a State Farm Century of Good grant. The $2 million Century of Good grant program provides these organizations with the opportunity to continue supporting projects focused on a range of community-specific environmental priorities like air quality, energy efficiency, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions, recycling and land preservation.
