The woman killed in the three-vehicle crash on US Route 150 at West College Avenue in Normal, on December 2, 2022, has been identified as Charlene C. Jones, age 57, of Bloomington, Illinois.
According to a release from McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder, Ms. Jones died of multiple blunt traumatic injuries due to automobile and semi-truck collisions, reportedly sustained as the driver and sole occupant of an automobile that collided with another automobile and then impacted with a semi-truck.
Toxicology testing is pending.
This incident remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the McLean County Coroner’s Office.
