The McLean County Clerk’s Office reports damage from a water pipe break over the week-end.
McLean County Clerk Kathy Michael tells Cities 92.9 that Tim Daugherty from Maintenance texted her Saturday to advise that his staff was “on it,” and taking care of things.
Michael said that there is lots of water damage, papers strewn everywhere, fans blowing, and tiles are hanging down from ceilings to open them up to the fans. She said that it doesn’t look like any of the vital records were damaged.
Michael said she is not sure what the total damage is, but Vital Records up front, looks okay and the office is open.
