James and Jim
Meet James. He needs your help. James is eight years old. He has a friend. Jame’s friend’s mother (Anna) has cancer. James wanted to help her. So he has opened a lemonade stand. James opened his stand up in front of Aster + Indigo Market and Candle Co. The store is in Colfax at 124 E. Main St.
James has a dad. His name is Jim. Jim wanted to help James. So Jim went out and asked businesses to help. Now James will be selling more than lemonade.
The Longbranch Again is helping James and Jim. So are other businesses from Colfax, Cooksville and Fairbury.
James and Jim will be in front of Aster + Indigo Market next Saturday, April 22nd. They will have pulled pork sandwiches, chips, cookies and lemonade! They would like you to come by and have lunch with them.

Anna is battling stage four gastric cancer. The cancer cells are aggressive. Anna received a referral to a cancer specialist at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. She hopes to receive an experimental chemotherapy treatment that will relieve many serious side effects and prevent the cancer from spreading. If the treatment is successful she then plans to have stomach removal surgery.
