For the next two weekends, the Constitution Trail transforms from its usual serene atmosphere to a twisted trail of Halloween fun!
The “Not Scary” trail runs from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19 through Saturday, Oct. 21. Admission is $3 or a canned food donation per person. The “Scary” trail runs from 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28. Admission is $3 per person.
The haunting takes place between Vernon Avenue and the Connie Link Amphitheatre. Free parking is available at Normal Parks & Recreation, 100 E. Phoenix Ave., and at Chiddix Junior High, 300 S. Walnut. Shuttles are available at the end of the trail to return you to your vehicles.
Portions of Constitution Trail from the Connie Link Amphitheatre to West Phoenix Avenue close from 2-9 p.m. Vernon Avenue from Linden Street to Broadway Avenue will be reduced to two lanes from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19-21 and 6-9 p.m. Oct. 27-28.
The Haunted Trail experience is limited to the first 1,600 people per night and closes once this maximum is reached. In the event of inclement weather, we will update our Facebook page and the Rec-Line 309-433-3434 extension 2.
