Normal, IL – Over the past two weeks Normal PD Detectives, in cooperation with the McLean County State’s Attorneys Office, have concluded three major cases via trial and the sentencing process for the following individuals:
Ryan Godsil, age 32, Galesburg IL.
Sentenced to 45 years for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault
Assistance from the McLean County Children’s Advocacy Center
Mark Thrower, age 41, Vinton LA.
Sentenced to 28 years for Grooming (2 Counts), Traveling to meet a minor, Indecent Solicitation, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of a Child (2 Counts), Possession of Child Pornography (4 Counts).
Assistance from the LaSalle IL Police Department, US Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force and McLean County and the Children’s Advocacy Center.
Joseph Bonnette, age 41, Randolph NJ.
Guilty – Possession of Child Pornography. Sentencing Pending.
Assistance from the Bloomington Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, and The Illinois Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce.
