Public Works crews will collect bulk at no additional charge for Solid Waste Program customers from May 6 to May 17 for the Spring 2024 Free Bulk Pickup. Crews will follow the 2024 Leaf, Brush, Trimmings and Bulk Pickup Calendar, starting with Zone 1 Orange on May 6. Leaves, brush, and trimmings will be picked up at the same time as bulk. Pickup dates may be adjusted, depending on the amount of material, weather, and other factors. Public Works will post daily updates and update the interactive map on the Solid Waste page at www.bloomingtonil.gov/solidwaste as crews progress. Residents can also sign up for e-mail or text updates by visiting https://public.govdelivery.com/accounts/ILBLOOM/subscriber/new and subscribing toSolid Waste Updates under Public Works.
Materials must be placed in separate piles behind the curb by 6:00 a.m. on the date shown on the daily updates. Sod, dirt, concrete, rock, shingles, and appliances are not included in the Spring 2024
