The City of Bloomington’s Arts & Entertainment Department announced on Monday that the
stand-up comedian, actor, producer and writer, Pete Davidson will be performing at the BCPA in
Bloomington, Illinois on June 14,2024 as part of his new Prehab Tour.
Davidson was a cast member on NBC’s, “Saturday Night Live (SNL),” from 2014 through 2022. He has
recently returned to host the 49 th season premiere of the hit show.
Outside of SNL, Davidson shot his first one hour stand up special on Comedy Central in 2016, he was then later named one of the ‘Forbes 30 Under 30’ within the same year. In 2020, Davidson released “Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.” He was then listed as one of ‘Time’s 100 Most Influential People’ of 2022.
This January he released a new Netflix standup special, “Pete Davidson: Turbo Fonzarelli.” In 2020, Davidson co-wrote, starred, and was executive producer of the critically acclaimed film, “The King of Staten Island.” Additional film work of his includes, “Dumb Money,” “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,” “Trainwreck,” “Big Time Adolescence,” “Set It Up,” “Meet Cute,” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies.”
He is currently performing brand-new material with his Prehab Tour. Some of his upcoming projects this year include, “The Home,” “I Slept with Joey Ramone,” and “Wizards!” Production will also begin on season 2 of Davidson’s semi-autobiographical comedy series “Bupkis,” this year streaming on Peacock.
