The City of Bloomington’s Arts & Entertainment Department announced on Friday that they have officially partnered with the nonprofit organization Vet Tix at both the Bloomington Center For The Performing Arts and Grossinger Motors Arena to connect veterans with opportunities to attend live events free of charge.
With gratitude towards those who have served in mind, this partnership enables the regular distribution of tickets for shows from the BCPA and Grossinger Motors Arena to Vet Tix, who will then further distribute the tickets to local and regional veterans who are interested in attending.
Vet Tix provides tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. They support the troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences, during and after their years of service to our country.
