The City of Bloomington is excited to announce the latest addition to its website, BuildingBloomington.com, with the launch of a comprehensive Residential Development Dashboard. This new feature offers detailed insights into the city’s residential development activities, providing real-time data from January 2024 to the present.
The Residential Development Dashboard categorizes data into four main areas: Residential Units: Plans Approved, Residential Units: Applied for Permits, Residential Units: Permits Issued, and Residential Units: In Progress. Each category is broken down into subcategories: Single Family Attached or Detached, Two Family Attached, and Multi-Family.
To date, the dashboard reports:
- Residential Units: Plans Approved: 250 units (150 Single Family, 50 Two Family, 50 Multi-Family)
- Residential Units: Applied for Permits: 200 units (120 Single Family, 40 Two Family, 40 Multi-Family)
- Residential Units: Permits Issued: 150 units (100 Single Family, 50 Two Family, 0 Multi-Family)
- Residential Units: In Progress: 600 units (370 Single Family, 140 Two Family, 90 Multi-Family)
All categories report the total number of units, ensuring comprehensive coverage of residential development activities. Additionally, the dashboard features an interactive map where users can click on each project to view detailed information, including the address, status, type, and number of units.
