Normal, IL – On Sunday, October 13, 2024, at approximately 9:02 PM, officers from the Normal Police Department responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Fast Stop convenience store located at 817 W. College Ave.
Upon investigation, police determined that a suspect, described as a Black male between the ages of 35 and 45, was involved. The suspect, who was dressed in all black clothing and wore a full-face mask, brandished a firearm during the robbery and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Authorities are urging residents in the area to review any security camera footage from the night of October 13 for anything that may help identify the suspect.
