Early Monday morning, December 9, Bloomington police responded to an armed robbery at a business on the 3000 block of East Empire Street. Two masked suspects, dressed in dark clothing and gloves, displayed a weapon during the crime before fleeing on foot.
The suspects stole cash, business property, and personal belongings, and caused property damage. Fortunately, no significant injuries were reported.
Bloomington Police Chief Jamal Simington urged community cooperation, stating, “This illegal conduct is unacceptable, and the victims deserve justice.”
