The City of Bloomington has announced a Snow Route Parking Ban effective Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 6:00 AM, in anticipation of winter weather. The ban, in place until further notice, is crucial for ensuring that Public Works crews can safely plow, salt, and maintain roadways.
Residents are encouraged to move their vehicles off city streets to facilitate snow removal. Those without access to driveways or off-street parking can utilize free parking at City parks, parking garages, and lots for the duration of the ban. No fees will be charged in these locations during this time.
