A federal judge has temporarily blocked that freeze, providing a brief window for local leadership. In response, Dan Brady, candidate for Mayor of Bloomington, released the following statement:

I will work closely with state and federal leaders to advocate for the resources we deserve, while ensuring we have a plan to support critical projects and programs during any disruptions.
