Authorities are investigating a death that occurred in a Bloomington residence on Sunday morning.
According to the Bloomington Police Department, officers responded to the 900 block of North Lee Street at approximately 10:59 a.m. for a death investigation. Paramedics from the Bloomington Fire Department also arrived at the scene.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim(s) and called in the Criminal Investigations Division and the McLean County Coroner’s Office. Officials have not released the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin. An autopsy is scheduled.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
