The Normal Police Department (NPD) has arrested two juvenile suspects in connection with an armed robbery that took place on March 10, 2025, near the Schnucks grocery store on Bradford Lane.
Authorities responded to the 1700 block of Bradford Lane at approximately 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of an armed robbery. According to initial information, a victim was approached by two suspects in a parking lot. The suspects, both reportedly armed, demanded money before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Descriptions provided to officers indicated that both suspects were Black males, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” in height and between 18 and 20 years old. One suspect was noted to be wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black ski mask.
Following an investigation led by NPD’s Criminal Investigation Division and in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Task Force, two juveniles were identified and arrested on March 12, 2025. Both juveniles face charges of aggravated robbery and robbery. Their cases are currently under review by the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office.
