(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Associate Editor Greg Bishop discusses several bills the Illinois House approved to be sent to Gov. J.B. Pritzker in the final days of legislation session, including changes to the Illinois Prisoner Review Board and protections for a crucial drinking water aquifer.
Bishop also shares reaction from Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson to the news the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the city’s hiring practices for possible civil rights violations. Johnson took questions from reporters in Chicago Tuesday.
