Weather radios off air
The National Weather Service announced that several weather radio transmitters, including those covering much of Illinois, are off the air through Thursday afternoon due to a nationwide computer system update.
The planned outage comes at an inopportune time, with the potential for severe storms Tuesday and Wednesday. The National Weather Service said it will be important to have alternate ways to receive warning information during this time.
New stadium announced

Chicago Fire officials said Tuesday that a privately funded soccer-specific stadium and entertainment district would be located in the “78” development site at Roosevelt Road and the Chicago River.
The new facility is expected to open in the spring of 2028. The Fire currently plays at Soldier Field.
