Pronounced deceased on scene, was Robert B. Rish, age 38, of Anchor, Illinois. The preliminary
autopsy opinion indicated that Mr. Rish died from multiple blunt injuries due to a motorcycle and
automobile collision, reportedly sustained as the driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle.
Toxicology testing is pending.

ELLSWORTH, Ill. (June 12, 2024) — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in rural McLean County, authorities said.
McLean County deputies responded around 7:32 a.m. to the intersection of 2600 East and 1500 North Road in Blue Mound Township, near Ellsworth. Deputies found a motorcycle and a sedan involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene by the McLean County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the sedan, a juvenile male, was taken to Carle BroMenn Medical Center with minor injuries, officials said.
The McLean County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit and the Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate.
