Illinois joins lawsuit against EPA over grant cuts
Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is joining a lawsuit against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for canceling so-called climate justice grant projects.
Raoul says one example in the $3 billion in such funding is $2.7 million for sewage backups alongside the Chicago-Calumet River system. Raoul joins 19 other states in suing the EPA.
Teachers get free admission to Chicago attractions
Teachers are getting free admission to two attractions in Chicago for the rest of the month.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago and PEPPA PIG World of Play Chicago announced they are giving educators the free perk in addition to 30% off admission for up to six of their family or friends.
The offer is good until the end of the month.

The Illinois Lottery said someone won $650,000 from the game’s Monday midday drawing by matching all five winning numbers.
Tickets for the game can be purchased by adults 18 and older in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app.
