(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Editor Greg Bishop provides highlights from Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s Monday news conference where he signed two gun control measures, including one requiring guns be locked up in certain circumstances that Second Amendment advocates say is ripe for lawsuits.
Bishop also reviews a report from Unleash Prosperity that shows more than 881,000 Illinoisans taking more than $63.4 billion of their income to other states between 2012 to 2022.
Finally, Bishop discusses the latest data showing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program error rate for Illinois and what Gov. J.B. Pritzker says his administration is doing about it.
