Public Works Department crews will collect bulk items at no additional charge for Solid Waste Program customers from October 6 to October 17 during the Fall 2025 Free Bulk Pickup.
Public Works has a new interactive map with projected start dates, which will be updated as crews progress. Pickup dates may be adjusted depending on the amount of material, weather, and other factors. The interactive map is available on the City website at www.bloomingtonil.gov/solidwaste.
Once the seasonal pickup event is complete, Public Works will resume regular leaf, brush, and trimmings collection, along with $25-per-loader-bucket bulk pickup, according to the 2025 Solid Waste Calendars. During regular pickup, these materials are collected on the opposite week from recycling.
