Heartland Community College will hold a Health Sciences Open House on Wednesday, October 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Commons Building (CCB) on the Main Campus (1500 W. Raab Rd., Normal).
The event will offer a chance for students and community members interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. The event will cover the selective admission process, how to pay for college, as well as the opportunity to explore labs and meet with faculty.
A presentation of all programs will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by a tour of the Health Sciences classrooms.
Programs offered at Heartland Community College include Dental Assistant, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Assistant, Nursing, Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiography, Recovery Support Specialist, and Veterinary Assistant.
