Connect Transit has appointed Julie Hile as chair of its Board of Trustees following the passing of Chairman Ryan Whitehouse. Hile, formerly the board’s vice chair, is president and senior principal of the Hile Group and partner in Hile-Broad Properties.
Hile has long been active in community and transportation initiatives, co-leading Connect Transit’s “Connect to the Future” planning process and contributing to local sustainability and safety projects.
“We believe we owe it to Ryan’s memory to provide consistency and leadership in our community,” Hile said.
Connect Transit Managing Director David Braun welcomed Hile’s appointment, praising her continued leadership as the organization advances its mission to strengthen community access and opportunity.
