Midwest Food Bank in Normal will host its annual Blessing Blitz, a 24-hour volunteer marathon featuring 24 service projects, on November 25–26 at its warehouse.
Volunteers will help prepare and package food for the bank’s partner agencies, which distribute to families facing food insecurity across Illinois. Executive Director Mike Swartz said the event is “a chance for our whole community to come together in service.”
The event is open to volunteers ages 5 and up and includes guided tours and photo opportunities. Advance registration is required at MidwestFoodBank.org under the Bloomington-Normal location.
