The Central Illinois Regional Airport will gain a third daily nonstop flight to Atlanta beginning March 8, 2026. Officials say the new midday departure will leave Bloomington at noon and arrive at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 2:48 p.m., improving options for both domestic and international connections.
Executive Director Carl Olson said the added flight restores service long sought since the pandemic and reflects strong travel demand. CIRA remains the only downstate Illinois airport served by Delta.
The airport also offers service on Allegiant and American with routes to Orlando/Sanford, Tampa/St. Pete, Chicago O’Hare and Dallas–Fort Worth. Booking for the new Delta flight is now available.
