Local labor, business, and civic partners will unite for the 43rd Annual Children’s Christmas Party distribution, Saturday, December 13, from 8 – 11 a.m., a drive-through event at the Midwest Food Bank, 2031 Warehouse Road, Normal.
Currently, 790 families with 2760 children are enrolled.
The Party is for low-income families that need holiday assistance. Pre-registration was required. Each family will receive age-appropriate gifts for their children 12 and under, candy, and a $50 gift card.
The annual event is co-sponsored by the Bloomington & Normal Trades & Labor Assembly (AFL-CIO), the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, Laborers International Union of North America Local 362, the Pantagraph, and McCarron Law.
