Six people were injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in the 700 block of Franklin Avenue, according to the Normal Police Department.
Officers responded around 2:40 a.m. to reports of multiple shots fired and found several individuals outside suffering from gunshot wounds. Police, assisted by multiple agencies, secured the scene and provided aid before the victims were transported to local hospitals.
Authorities said the victims — two juvenile males, two adult males, and two adult females — all sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The incident appears to be isolated, and no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing.
