The City of Bloomington has announced changes to its solid waste services in observance of Good Friday on April 3.
Leaves, brush, garden trimmings, and bulk items will not be collected, and the Citizen Convenience Center will be closed for the holiday. However, regular garbage and recycling pickup will continue as scheduled that day.
The Citizen Convenience Center will reopen on Saturday, April 4. Residents seeking more information about the city’s solid waste program can visit the city’s website, email Public Works, or call (309) 434-2220 during normal business hours.
