(The Center Square) – No arrests have been reported after video surfaced of at least 100 shots being fired during an incident in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood.
CWB Chicago reports that a reader provided footage of nearly 40 seconds of uninterrupted gunfire involving five men around 2:25 a.m. on April 4.
A 31-year-old man was listed in good condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
FEDS: CHICAGO MAN THREATENED TO ‘SHOOT UP’ SECRET SERVICE
A Chicago man is charged with threatening to shoot up a U.S. Secret Service office and hunt an agent.
Prosecutors say Michael Kovco, 29, made the threat in an electronic message through the official White House website March 19.
The message was allegedly sent about two hours after Secret Service officers visited Kovco’s home to inquire about a prior threat Kovco was accused of making March 17.
SETTLEMENT REACHED OVER EAST ST. LOUIS WATER VIOLATIONS
Federal authorities say the city of East St. Louis has agreed to address the city’s unlawful discharges of untreated sewage in the Mississippi River and other locations.
The Justice Department, the Environmental Protection Agency and the state of Illinois reached an interim agreement with East St. Louis Clean Water Act violations, following a complaint filed by the Justice Department in December 2024.
