Community leaders in Bloomington-Normal are partnering to host a free Housing & Resource Fair on April 29 at Eastland Mall, focused on fair housing, wellness, and access to essential services.
The event, organized by the Mid Illinois REALTORS® Association along with the City of Bloomington and Town of Normal, will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and connect residents with resources for renters, homebuyers, and those experiencing housing instability. Services will include housing assistance programs, fair housing education, and support for health, wellness, and substance abuse.
Organizers say the fair is designed to take a broader approach by combining housing support with wellness services, including on-site care from the Carle Mobile Health Clinic. Attendees will also have access to free lunch, children’s activities, and transportation to help remove barriers to participation.
