A Hudson man has been arrested following a months-long grooming investigation conducted by the Normal Police Department.
Authorities say 43-year-old Brandon B. Knapp was taken into custody on April 23, 2026, by the United States Marshals Service Task Force on a McLean County warrant. The arrest stems from an investigation that began in November 2025 involving allegations of grooming.
The department’s Criminal Investigations Division conducted multiple interviews and worked closely with the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office throughout the case. On April 22, a McLean County Grand Jury indicted Knapp on two counts of grooming.
Knapp faces two felony counts related to the allegations. Authorities note that all charges have been reviewed by prosecutors, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
