Residents in the Town of Normal should note changes to some waste collection services for the Juneteenth holiday on Friday, June 19.
Household trash and recycling will be collected as scheduled, but bulk waste and brush collection on Friday routes will be postponed until the following week and picked up on their regular collection day. Residents are reminded to have all collection items at the curb by 6 a.m.
Town of Normal offices, including the Electronics Recycling Facility, will be closed Friday in observance of Juneteenth and will reopen Monday, June 22.
